Load-bearing elements, detachments, displacements, and accumulation of manufactured objects. By forcing the view into a 15° angle, Élodie Huet and Berten Jaekers invite the spectator to discover the result of their 3 weeks residency. This collaboration was born out of a latent issue present in both of their respective works : the disfunctionallity of the object. If Élodie Huet plays with the multiplication of readymades to create semantic disruptions and requalify them visually, Berten Jaekers decontextualizes found objects, copies them, and blurs their state or coherence. Time and space are fragmented in the experience of this installation made by two artists who clearly question the aura and the role adopted by the objects that surround us.
